Hey.
So I want to get a new nice camera, because I think it would be fun.
But, these long cold winters with snow and crappy days outside make me think I'd never use it during this whole season...

What do you think?

I got this camera (the Kodak EasyShare C310) in September of 2005.....it was working perfectly fine, and the pictures were coming about awesome until yesterday. I took some pictures on Valentines day and they were all kind of color disorted, and there are these wierd lines going through the pictures. Also, if you take a picture, there is like a shadow behind the person. BUT, these things never happened! Also, the picture looks 100% normal on the little screen; it only looks wierd once you press click to take the picture. At first I thought it was the flash, so I took a picture with the flash off, but I had the same problem! Do you know what is wrong with it and what I can do to fix it? Thanks =]

I'm going to buy a digital camera and I want to make sure that the cables I need come in the whole pkg...for example, usually when you buy a digital camera comes with: an installation cd, battery, a band so you can carry it around, etc...

Was considering the 70-300DO version but now boiled it down to these lenses for my canon 30D with 17-55 2.8 IS

I know they are different lens in the sense of range and also one is L and the other is not. I guess i am just seeing if the L is worth the extra or not - both seem to being raved about at the moemnt and plan to buy one tomorrow in time for chinese new year

any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Just got a Canon Eos 400D camera and was looking for a not too expensive wide angle lens. I was wondering if anyone knew any good ones for not so much money? Or is that a contradiction? Thanks!

Hi there

I have Canon 30D with 17-55 F2.8 IS lens. I am looking for a new telezoom lens for general photograhy use - i travel quite a bit and also like to take portrait picstures.

I am trying to decide between the two above lens. I have read quite a few of the reviews but they seem to contradict one another sometimes. I think it boils down to that the 70-200L F4 IS has better image quality but the DO is more compact and has more zoom - i am tempted to go for the DO but trying to find out if the F4 70-200 L image quality is THAT much better. Has anyone put the magnifier on the 70-200 to get more zoom?

I live in Hong Kong so about similar prices (DO slightly more at $1150US) price. I intend to go to new zealand travelling soon and expect to take it around china too. - hopefully goingto buy the lens tomorrow as chinese new year starts!

Any comments you have would be much appreciated.

I am planning to buy a sigma 28-300 DG for my Canon 350d. IS that a good move? or I should go for another lens? I dont want to remove and connect another lens for wide - tele and all. With this am I compromising the performance ? I red that this lens gives sharp pictures in 300mm too.

Sometime ago I remember using Kodachrome 64 with great success although at times frustrating as the camera always had to be tripod mounted.

Can the results be obtained today using a camera with a sensitive CCD(8-10 megapixels) and ISO 100 which are comparable to Kodachrome or Velvia of the past?

I am investigating DSLRs for a friend and probably at some point buy one myself. Many Thanxs

I am looking for names and websites of lesser known digital lenses manufacturers for "Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera (DSLR's)". Regardless of the country of origin.

Here, I am not talking about brands such as Canon, Pentax, Sigma, Tamron, Vivitar, Olympus brands. However, if they do make lenses for Pentax and Samsung DSLR's cameras it's a plus.

I have a Kodak EasyShare One which I'd like to recover lost pictures off of. The only problem is that my computer doesn't recognize the camera as a removable drive, and therefore no recovery program I have tried is able to recognize the camera and recover its files. Other than buying a memory card reader, how can i recover files from my kodak easyshare one? Thank you.
