Price for performance in my opinion, it is hard to go past the Canon IP series. They have an amazing 1 picolitre print head (very fine detail) and chromalife 100 ink (lasts for 100 years). I have an IP4200 and I can't fault it. 5 ink tanks and it also prints CD's.

PIXMA iP4300, a great, no hassle, affordable printer. this is the updated iP4200 with the chromalife inks
