Our camera's autofocus never seems to work, and it takes - FOREVER - to snap a picture after a previous picture even when the battery is fully charged. Is this a sign that our rechargable battery should be replaced, or is it a sign of something else.
(I spose I can spend $10 on a new battery to test, but looking for opinions first)

I just had my pictures downloaded from my canon 400D. When I checked the shooting information, the owner's name (above the camera body number) reads unknown. How do I change this to my name?

I have seen flatbed scanners that claim they can scan slides, I have also seen high dollar scanners for slides only. My family's history was captured by my Dad on slides and I am looking to convert them to digital images. There are so many that paying someone to do it would run into the thousands of dollars. Would the flatbed scanner do the job for me or do I have to invest big dollars in the slide scanner

My husband and I are having a baby. We are interested in buying a digital camera, but there are SOOOOOO many options. So could someone tell me how many pixels we should get, I'd like to blow up some of the pictures on my computer. And what a good brand of digital camera is that is relativly inexpensive. Websites with pictures of the camera would be great!

I have asked a question here about vivitar cameras before and never got a response. I'm trying again. I am in the market for a new camera and was wondering if anyone has any personal experiences with Vivitar ones and would be able to offer any information on how well they work? I think the one my husband mentioned is a vivitar 4100? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

i need a digital camera, compact, that has a back (the part you see the picture on) that flips out so you can see yourself if you are taking a picture of yourself. it has to have different color settings (animated, black and white, antique, blue hue, normal, and negative.) it has to be durable and have a nice zoom. (preferably 10x or more) if you can give me a site with the company of a camera like this, YOU GET TEN POINTS!
much love-me =)

I'm in the market for a new digital camera. I don't do professional photos- just pictures of the kids, dog, holiday, etc. I would like to be able to print photos that look decent, though. The largest I would ever print would be 8x10. Would this camera be good enough?
