Its a gift for my daughters 16th birthday. Would a camera at this price be worth it? She just started taking pictures in the last few months, its just a hobby not for school or anything. thanks

look on ebay or overstock.com for a canon or sony digital camera. there are a lot of people that will buy new cameras wanting to get rid of a fairly new 'old' digital camera at a bargain price in the price range you mentioned.

I know it is out of price range but poloaroid has a pink breast cancer 7.0 megapixel camera that is very nice and it cost 149.00 but curcuit city has a 5 megapixel pink one for 99.99
