I see one is like 10.4 megapix...I want a good camera to take nice pics but im not like a photographer or anything. I currently have a nikon coolpix. So which out of the 3 is the best?

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S60 Problem?
When I try and take a picture a triangular warning sign comes up.
And the pictures come out like s**t.
I think it has something to do with lighting because it doesn't happen in bright sunlight.It happens in all modes.
I have gone through the menu and can't find a setting to adjust to help problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

My mom wants a digital camera for Christmas and I really want to get her one. My brother, my dad and me are probably pooling our money and get her one but I really don't know much about this. It has to be:

-Small enough to fit in a purse.
-Not too expensive (under 250 dollars)
- At least 4 megapixels
- Pretty easy to manuever.

I need some ideas on which camera to get her. Thanks!!!

I'm not stupid, I know it's possible. I just bought a Pentax K100 and there should be a setting that I can use to see the picture constantly before I click the button. The owners manual tells me how to put on the freakin' strap and how to insert the batteries, but something like "How to use the Display" is conveniently left out. There's a button to push to view before you shoot, but it only stays on for a moment and it takes a pre picture, not just a freaking view. Please help me.

It's a Kodak EasyShare C340. I take a picture then go to review and if I try to delete it, it freezes and does not respond to any buttons. I have not gotten to take two pictures in a row in a while. I have resetted the camera, changed the batteries, and looked in the book. It's not brand new but it's not old. Maybe 4-6 months. I have never dropped it or spilled liquids on it. What's the matter with it?!

As it was loading it said the ISO was 25??? I turned the button to the ISO after it finished loading and it still said 25. I went ahead and took pictures and loaded the next roll of 400 speed film and the ISO said 400, like it is supposed to. Anyone know what the heck happened with that and if I should expect my pictures to turn out?

I probably read all the internet forums (i.e dpreview . . .) and i learn a lot about these two cameras, but i dont really know how effective will be the Image Stablizer ? and about the noise from the higher MP and the CCD Sensor , til this time i prefer A640, i like the rotating LCD and the rate of the shots in a second .
the next thing im thinking of is the optical zoom , that in 640 is 4x and in 710 is 6x .

im newbie but im studing books to take professional photos, i know that these are not professional (i have one old CANON AE-1 professional) but for case of studing and taking lots of photos i wanted a camera that has MANUAL features and good quality .

ill use it for pro photos and family or outdoor photos .

please help me ASAP ;)
