model dsc-s40 i cant find one on the camera or in the user manual thanks

White screen of death? To get it going again for a while, start the camera while pressing the following 3 buttons on the back:
* MENU
* Display/LCD on/off
* Image size/Delete

I dont know if it has a reset button. I have another model and dont know if it has one either but if there is a reset button somewhere it'll probably be on the bottom somewhere and will be a small hole. Stick a pic or un-bend a paperclip and stick it it. Thats usually what it would look like, may not be on the bottom though. Not completely sure if there is a reset button but i think it would be like that. hope it helps

it might not be reset, look for default settings
