What are the best batteries to us in my 420EX flash?

For some reason the energizer rechargables were slow and, yes, they were fully charged at the time.

Lithium batteries are the highest performance, but a bit pricey. But they last for about 4x as many shots as regular alkaline duracell/energizers.

Rechargables are economical in the long run, but aren't the fastest.

What is the rating of your energizer rechargeable? I've been using my Duracell rechargeable 2650mAh for my 430EX and it's been great. Get the highest rating if possible (2500mAh for energizer).
