If Mohommod had at least said, "I never heard of a Cobra camera," perhaps you could give him a "best answer" vote, but all he did was beg. C'mom, Mohommod. The idea is to try to help people and then get rewarded for your efforts. You've got to go to a section where you know something and at least try.

I never heard of Cobra cameras before, but I do see some on eBay. I'm sorry to say, but it looks like a "less than optimal" choice, even for the money.

Spend just a little bit more and get a Canon Powershot A410 and you will have a camera you will really like instead of one that does nothing well. Maybe the 420 or 430...

I agree with Dr. Sam. The thing that signals 'crap quality' is that this camera only has digital zoom. Any half decent camera should have 3x OPTICAL zoom (or more).
Here's why. This Cobra only uses the full 5 MP when you're zoomed all the way out. When you zoom in (4x digital), you're only using... err... 5MP/4 = 1.25 MP. That's not enough for a decent print. Actually, it's worse than most phone cameras!
So listen to Sam and get any of the Canons he suggests (and give him 10 points for saving you $100 :-)
