Whevever I view a photo there are lines across it that make it look like the photo has been taken through a venetian blind, as in there will be a stripe that looks as the photo should be and then the next stripe makes that section of the photo look in shade, and so on all the way down the picture. The lines don't show when the picture is being taken and this happens when the camera is set to auto.please help! Is this a fault or am I doing something wrong!

I want to blow-up and print one of my 6 mega-pixels pictures to the very large 30x20 size, and have it framed. Its rather expensive to do obviously - so I was just curious - for those that have witnessed it first hand, how are the results on a 6mp (or less) blown-up to such a large print?

Any noticable atrifacting, or duplicate pixels, that sort of thing.

I'd like one that isn't too expensive, but is still affordable. Also, it should have good features.

I own a Philips digital camera that calls for 4.5V. It works fine (although drains quickly) with alkaline batteries (1.5V). I have fully charged my Engergizer batteries (1.2V) and my camera would only turn on for a few seconds before shutting off.

I'm 15 year old and keep in mind that saving up money to buy a camera for me is pretty slow seeing as I don't have a job (I'm searching though) but I do get an allowance for housework. I used to take pictures with a camcorder and found out that I had a passion for photography so I decided to start looking for an intermediate cameras. Here are my current choices:

1. Nikon D50 (Seems like the most professional but it's the most expensive)
2. Canon A700 (Good and not expensive)
3. Nikon P4 (Good and not expensive)
4. Sony W70 (Good and not expensive)

Which one do you suggest?

Am considering purchase of A100 and am trying to decide whetehr to get the lens kit. The lens by itself retails for US $199. I am new to DSLR's and do not currently have any lenses. Can you get KM's on the cheap these days?

Here are the specs from the Sony website:

SAL1870 DT18-70mm F3.5-5.6 Lens Features:

DT Lens Design:
A more compact, lightweight lens designed specifically for the APS-size CCD imager used in the Sony® α (alpha) DSLR-A100 camera.

Aspherical Lens Elements:
To correct visual aberrations at wide-angle setting, enabling a lightweight lens to capture more visually accurate wide-angle shots.

ED (Extra-low Dispersion) Glass:
To reduce chromatic aberration at telephoto extension, correcting certain wavelengths of light for sharp, clear images with well defined colors.

Circular Aperture:
Because aperture blades form a near circle at the wide openings used for low-light shots, spot-light sources have a pleasing circular defocused effect.

I am looking to get a digital camera that's between $80-$130. Here is a list of the features I want:
Quick photo taking. I have a two year old and I don’t' want all of this photos being blurry. Most of the ones I have taken lately are with his eyes half closed. So I need to be able to take a quick photo.

Zooming: I would like the option to manually zoom in, doesn't have to be a lot, but just enough. Our current camera has no zoom so I have to walk closer to what I'm taking a photo of.

Quality: I would like to be able to print an 8 1/2 X 11 of the photo I took. So I don't need a ton of mega pixels but enough to have a photo of that size.

And lastly, a good flash: My friend's camera always washes everyone out with the flash. She's played around with it but everyone still comes out white, so maybe a camera with a not-so-bright flash. I am white enough without having a flash make it worse! :)

So if you know of any good brands and models, I would appreciate it! Thank you.
