I am going tomorrow to get a camera for my birthday!! Iam not sure which digital camera I should get. My price range is up to $400.00. I have a digital camera that is 3 years old and I like it, but it is starting to not work. I perfer standard batteries (such as AA, AAA, etc.) but it is okay if they use special camera batteries. I would like to have a dock that comes with the camera so I can print out pics. The two I was looking at were the Kodak EasyShare V570 and Kodak EasyShare V603. Umm so I need feedback! Thank you!

I am considering purchasing the Canon SD 630. I am a consumer photographer that looks for image quality, portability, the panoramic scene mode, and overall build quality. I know the panoramic scene mode is really random, but I love it. Please make some suggestions and comments on the SD 630.

Do the letters "W" and "T" stand for something in another language? I don't know much about digital cameras but my kids say these letters are always used for the zoom on their cameras.

Lets say I am looking for a new DSLR, I have little to no experience in photography, but I have a bunch of money to burn. I am very interested in photography and will pick it up very fast. I have zero old equipment. what do you think?

I desire to have the Nikon sb 800 flash but can't afford it, average price being 250-335.00 on Ebay. So, I'm considering third party flash units. Do anyone know which flash is EXACTLY like the Nikon sb 800 model? (no matter if it's third party or otherwise). I want to do research on any suggestion given. I currently have a Nikon coolpix 8700 camera, but is considering upgrading to the Nikon D200 within the next 6 months. The "suggested flash" will need to be compatible for both cameras. Serious answers Only please....

My expense is 800 USD, a little more or less. I've not decided yet on brand name, maybe Canon or Nikon. I just want to take daily-life photos with high quality, especially at night and some landscape photos during vacations. I'd prefer to use an interchangeable lens with hood and high ability to zoom in and out. I also heard about wide conversion lens and tele conversion lens and I need advices on this as well.
Thank you for sharing your experience.

What about an upgrade to the Rebel XT? With the release of the A100 and D80, do you think Canon will be raising the bar on Consumer DSLR's?

Want something that's not too expensive, takes good photo's (meaning quickly enough to actually catch the moment), and isn't entirely huge and clunky... It does NOT have to be microscopic either! LOL
