If you mean that you want to scan the slides into digital photos, then a number of firms do offer this service (try Yellow Pages). Check the prices, though, and then look at the prices of slide scanners (a specialised scanner which accepts 35mm slides). For 'several hundred' transparencies you may well find that it is far cheaper to buy a machine, scan the slides at your leisure and then to sell the machine (at half price or a little more, perhaps) when you are done.

I've tried converting some slides with a special bellow for my camera, but ended up selling it. Even with what I thought was a controlled and even backlight, I did nto get consistent results.
I ended up buying a Nikon Coolscan V ED for about $600. It is a wonderful piece, once you learn how to use it. CLEAN THOSE SLIDES FIRST THOUGH!!! Several hundred slides could take years of spare time to convert to prints if you do any clean up and editting along the way.

It can be prohibitively expensive to have these professionally scanned (like 35 cents each) if you have hundreds and hundreds of them. If it's only a couple hundred than you can have this done at any AlphaGraphics near where you live.
But, if it is quite a bit more than that, then you should buy a film scanner. If you can't afford that, then go to your local camera shop and get a bellows extension kit that fits your digital camera. This will allow you to take actual photos of your slides. Only do this if you have a high end camera (like an SLR).

There's a WWW site that describes how to set up a regular flatbed scanner into a slider converter, see the link below. If you have a scanner at home it'll be worth a few minutes to try this to see if it works for you.
It'll save you a bundle (hundreds of $s) in buying you own "slider scanner" (search buying sites for those), or have them converted professionally by the places mentioned by others.

With the advent of digital printing machines, it's now pretty simple to do, depending on whether or not your local Costco has the appropriate equipment to do it.
Most likely, you'll find a Mom and Pop place that will be able to do what you need.
Call up local photolabs and ask if they have digital printing equipment and then ask if they have the appropriate slide mounts to print to photos from it.
