It depends where you get it from, retailer, market or online. OR even better straight from the manufacturer!!! Personally, I would search on the internet for the model you particulary want and then contact the supplier ask questions. I live in Ireland and computer equipment is generally considerably more expensive here than in mainland Europe. A friend priced a Canon camera in Ireland and the same camera cost him €250 less in the Netherlands. Don't know anything about prices in the UK, but am wondering when ye plan on switching over to the Euro ;-).

Not that much cheaper and in some countries they are dearer. I have just been to five different countries and I checked everywhere. I came to the conclusion to buy here.

About the same. Try to buy a camera just below current top spec. Say 7 MegaPixels, which is more than enough.

not in eu but try the us, its much cheaper over there

in the us are much cheaper, also the dollar is very low compared with the euro..
