It is 5.1mp, 2.4" color LCD screen, 4xs digital zoom, and records with sound...It is on sale this week at the store where I work for $99.99 and with my discount I can get it for $85...i think it'll be good but I was just wondering if other people have liked theirs.

Heading to the Dayton Airforce Muesum tomorrow and most of the airplanes are indoors, under low lighting. I've taken practice shots inside my apartment with no lights on in the evening and I have the camera set at the following settings:

Apeture: F/2.8
Shutter Speed: 1/60
Flash: ON

Are these settings good enough for indoor shots under low lighting?

I've decided to buy this camera (anyone know of a better price than $650 after rebate?). However, my knowledge about storage media is not current and I could use some help deciding on what memory I should get for it initially.

The specs say that it supports both Memory Stick (including Pro) and Compact Flash storage (type I or II) and also supports FAT32 for cards greater than 2GB (I'm assuming they are talking about micrdrives here).

So, what's the difference for these types of media. Bearing in mind that this is a 10 megapixel camera that support RAW format, what would be the best choice for casual usage that costs a reasonable amount. Would a half gig card be sufficient or would I be better off with a 1 gig card? I can't see myself storing more than a 100 photos at a time on the unit. I prefer to max out the quality of my shots. Are there any speed issues for various types of memory?

I would especially love hearing from someone who owns this camera. What do you think of it

I am looking to buy a photo printer and don't really know where to begin. What sort of specifications should I be looking for? Also, this may seem like a stupid question, but will any photo printer be compatible with my p.c? I'm not very technically minded, any help much appreciated. Thanks.

When my battery needs recharging (won't last but about half a day) and I put it in my recharger...sometimes it flickers green meaning charged and red means not charged yet... Then, sometimes it'll turn green in a couple of hours or less. Do they charge that fast? Is the battery ready to be trashed? Is the recharger ready to be trashed? Doesn't seem exactly right and if it's not...how do I find out where the problem lies.

You don't see them too much these days, but it's like, right after you take a picture, it comes right out. If you know about these, please tell some good websites to visit, prices for them, the best ones, etc.

I just ordered a Canon Rebel XT. I have an old 380EX that I used with my old Ellen IIe. I tried a few flash shots and they look okay. But I'm not sure what functionalities I lose by using such old model of flash, or are there any known problems using them together?

How long do companies like Canon and Nikon change their models? Because I can only get my first DSLR Camera after two years. So what should I do in the mean time? And how old are the Nikon D50 and Canon 350D are they phasing out?

I am thinking of taking up photography as a hobby. So i decided to start on these two models. The Canon 350D or the Nikon D50. So which one is more expensive to maintain like buying extra lens and repair costs. And which one do you think is better. Why?
