I do know that other people have encountered the same problem: the camera works fine for a while, but, all of a sudden, the image (to be taken) is no longer displayed in the LCD screen, though the screen is working properly, for you can see the controls, icons, etc. If you take a picture thus, it will be completely black. This tends to happen when the warranty is over or you have misplaced the slip.

I want to really get serious about learning photo editing software.. But I have 5 different softwares on my computer (some are free downloads and some are for a trial period). I need to get rid of some of them - so that I can focus on learning a couple and limiting my time to just those and then maybe expand from that later on. The back and forth gets confusing and I don't know enough about any of it to pick which ones should go and which ones should stay on my computer. ---- Print Shop 6.0 ---- HP Photosmart Essential 1.9 ---- Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9 ----- Microsoft Photo Editor 3.0 ---- Adobe Photo Shop 2.0 ---- Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0. I know I did a click and fix for red eyes, with Adobe (I think), and one click gave them black eyes.... I'm sure some of these are outdated and you that are experienced photo editors should be able to tell me which ones I should leave....or if they're so dated I need to buy something else? Thanks for all your help.

I am trying to decide between an SLR (camera you can replace lenses) to a compact that has the following features:
1. Digital with at least 6 million pixels (or more if recommended. if more than why)
2. Fast shutter speed
3. Good optical zoom as well as digital
4. Most flexible flash capabilities

Overall, I just want a better camera than what I have. I want the ability to get up-close shots that is fast and does not delay when I am trying to get a certain shot...
I currently have a Canon Power Shot A70

I would appreciate your help

I want to purchase this camera that is by Aiptek, it is model DV 4500and it had 4 megapixels, its a digital camera and camcorder, and it also has an mp3 player, voice recorder, and it also works as a online camera, its 89.99 at Target and 109.99 at Walgreens. I just want to know if it's a good buy. I want to know about how many songs you can get in a 512mb card. Here is the camera, click on the link: http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100380&navAction=jump&navCount=0&id=prod1133264

I have a Nikon Coolpix P2 Digital Camera. I installed Picture Project, tried Kodak Easy Share....also Adobe Photoshop 2. Since I don't really know how to edit, crop etc., would it be okay to delete all these programs and just go with the Wizard Photo Program from Windows ? I noticed when I upload my pictures, the other programs always "grab" my pics, and then I have a heck of a time to get them over to "My Pictures" in Windows. Thanks for answering !

They have them all over Disneyland. It's a bunch of small pictures put together and it looks like one big picture. Also is there any free or cheap software that I can do this with my own personal pictures?
