What is the best digital camera that takes pictures fast, lasts long and looks stylish. I need something that is fast. Something I can take with me when I travel. I don't want something I will have to charge or change batteries on all the time.

I just want a simple digital camera under $300 that I can use to take pictures and print photos and send pictures through the internet. I go shopping and they have a million different options, zooming, auto focus, some don't have usb port attachments, some use disks, etc. What is the best for the novice photographer?

It's a Nikon Coolpix2500 ( I actually found it on the beach, with no name or address in it--- Let that be a lesson!) and it came with a really good memory card. I accidentaly left the good one in the WalMart Kodak Picture thing. Of course, it was gone by the time I realized that I lost it. All I have is the starter card and the camera itself. I also need some good software that will work with Windows 98 (yep, stuck in the 20th century!) to get the pictures and edit them. I don't want to spend more than 100 dollars for a good memory card, and I want it to hold a lot of good quality pictures. Where can I get one and does the memory card quality effect the picture quality?

OK, i am looking for help in deciding on a digital camera to buy. Heres what im looking for, i want at least 3x optical zoom, no less than 5 megapixels, i want it SLIM, good battery life (and preferably a charger that plugs directly in wall and you place battery into, or you just plug charger directly into the camera, **This detail isnt that big of a deal**) good photo quality, this isnt for professional photographs, i want a camera to take to college. Ones ive been looking at so far are the Canon Powershot SD450 and Casio Exilim Z60. With canon, ive heard a lot about a E18 error, and the casio doesnt have a viewfinder which i heard is hard outside cuz screen is hard to see. any opinions or new cameras to suggest?

Isn't it pretty much just as easy to print your pictures through a computer? Or is there some big advantage of digital camera printers that i'm missing?
