I want to transfer some short video clips I have taken recently on my digital camera, so that they can be played on DVD players. The files all seem to be in the .THM format, after I downloaded them onto my PC. I have 2 pieces of software that I am trying to now put the movies onto DVD with- ZoomBrowser (came with my Canon camera) and Ashampoo. Neither one will move the movies over. The movies play fine on my PC. I just cant get them onto DVD. Is there an easy way to do this? Do I have to buy some new software to do this? Will this video play on all DVD players? I thought this was going to be easy, like burning a CD, but man am I stuck!

Just today I turned on my camera and it said there was no memory available. (But the memory card in the camera had just had all its images erased yesterday and was properly inserted in the camera.) When I pressed the "Quick" button to see what pictures I had on the camera, the screen said "no images on card." When I took that memory card out and put a different one in, those messages stopped.

So was my camera malfunctioning, or has that memory card somehow been fried? Do memory cards degrade with time? I've had the camera and the memory cards for about three years, never had any problems with any of them before. I always take good care of my camera and memory cards, never drop them, leave them sitting in the heat or cold for long periods of time, etc.

I am thinking of getting a photo dock printer and just print pics from my digital camera at home. Is this really cheaper in the long run than getting film and having it developed? I mean, with the printer dock, you have to figure in the price of the camera, printer dock, paper, ink, etc. Is it cheaper and better in the long run?

I bought a Nikon Coolpix by accident that doesn't power on. Any techno-geniuses out there who might know why this is? (besides the batteries-which are fine!) Could it be a short? Is there any hope? Do I need to take to a professional?

I have a Nikon Coolpix 5600 now, and I'm sick of the 3x flash by then everyone blinks. I know I can disable it but then the red eye goes back on. I'm looking for a digital camera that only flashes once and it takes away the red eye....or either way

I want to buy a video camera and other things so I can make home movies. I have no clue on what to buy. I don't want to buy just any old camera. Maybe something nice with a mic that someone holds. Good movie making stuff. Where do I get this stuff from? And what do I need to buy to make good movies not cheap ones?

The film was found in a Kodak Zoom 8 Automatic f/1.9 Model 2 camera. I assume this is not Super 8.

I have a sony cybershot and it is malfunctioning because I put brand new batteries in it, sony re-chargables, also regular batteries and as soon as i turn it on the low battery symbol starts blinking and it shuts off. I've had this camera for about 3 years so it definitly isn't covered under warrenty anymore.
