What is the best digital camera that takes pictures fast, lasts long and looks stylish. I need something that is fast. Something I can take with me when I travel. I don't want something I will have to charge or change batteries on all the time.

I own a Kodak Z730 5 megapixel digital camera. It is among the best in its class. It consists of a large 2.2 inch screen and picture quality is amazing. The best feature of this camera is that it has 4X optical as well as 4X digital zoom. Other 5 megapixel cameras usually have 3X optical and 2X digital zooms that either have the same or a higher price tag than the abovementioned Kodak digital camera. Plus, the battery life is really good. I bought it from Best Buy for $199.99 It gives u the most bang for ur buck. Definitely a best buy.

The Canon Power Shot S70 is a great camera. There are newer Canon models out that may be smaller now. Great photos, easy to use, fast, and has camera raw capability. Carry a spare battery(they are small) if you need to take many photos. Battery seems to last long though and it is easy to charge. Very compact.

A canon powershot is great with the capacity, looks, and quality. it's not over the top with pricing either! Best Buy or besically any other electronic store should be in stock. GOOD LUCK and have a blast on vacation,
