I have a Nikon Coolpix P2 Digital Camera. I installed Picture Project, tried Kodak Easy Share....also Adobe Photoshop 2. Since I don't really know how to edit, crop etc., would it be okay to delete all these programs and just go with the Wizard Photo Program from Windows ? I noticed when I upload my pictures, the other programs always "grab" my pics, and then I have a heck of a time to get them over to "My Pictures" in Windows. Thanks for answering !

I have an old Nikon Coolpix and I use the Nikon View software that came with the camera (or downloaded from Nikon website). You can designate where to upload the photos and the filename format you want to use. I have found that not all cameras work with the built-in windows camera wizard (though canon does).

Try Picasa, free and easy to use.

A free software download from Google.
Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organised by date with folder names you will recognise. You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organised.

Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at your fingertips. And Picasa makes it a snap to share your pictures – you can email, print photos home, make gift CDs, and even post pictures on your own blog.
