people will promote what they are using...based on my experiance...nikon cameras will definitely give you pictures with the greatest quality...i've compared pictures from nikon, canon, sony, olympus n konica minolta...nikon is the best...followed by either olympus or konica minolta, then canon...then sony...if you want to buy a digital camera...get one that's at least 4 megapixel...try to get one that has the smallest number for it's digital zoom...

Depends on what kind of picture quality and price range you're looking for. If you just want one to take pictures, try the HP PhotoSmart 435 3.1MP Digital Camera. It's less than $100 and should take decent pictures. For photos that are a little above average, I use the Kodak EasyShare V530 5.0MP and I'm very happy with it. My advice is go to a local store like Wal*Mart, see what kind you're looking for, and find a deal. For quality cameras, I'd check online or Costco.. Those are my favorites.

I would say the CASIO EX-Z750. I own it and it takes great pictures. To actually buy one, I might try eBay with a trustworthy seller with alot of positive feedback.
