If the batteries are of the type Li-ion the charge would last at least 6 weeks or more. The trick is that once they are fully charged, take them off the charger and store them in a cool place !

They hold Full Charge for about six months or so**... and they take a few charge/discharges from new to obtain the full power...
Uniross are ok.. but Energiser by Ever-Ready are Better.... i use 1700 mAH Energiser.. (the Uniross ones i have are only 700mAH..) 1700 Is Much better for Digital Cameras.....
** as long as not inserted into anything...
ALSO, i brought a Great little charger with 4AA+4AAA Batteries, all in for £9 from Ebay..

I'm not to sure so don't quote me but i think they would last between 5 and 7 days or is that weeks rechargeable batteries lose there charge don't they

Ideally you should store rechargeable batteries in a discharged state (use them until they're flat, but not completely drained). This depends on the type of rechargeable battery though (ni-cad etc), I assume you mean the standard AA type.
