Camcorders

I'm making a music video with windows movie maker and i want to mute the video clips but keep the music playing. Can some1 plz help me?

I was trying on bra's and clothing in a dressing room at Kohls department store and was stopped on my way out stating that they saw me take a bra out of the dressing room (having it on) which was not true. They stated they had a tape of this. I was angry that I had been accused of this. Admittedly, I took the tags off a bra to try on a shirt over it, which was wrong I admit. But put the bra back on the bench in dressing room. Can they tape you trying on undergarments. Yikes!!!

I'm looking for a good digital camera that'll take high quality pictures AND let me take movies. And not those short movies but it'll convert to a movie digital recorder.

And I need one that's a very good price because I'm broke.

I have a Super 8 camcorder (I know I know, it's old, I have a newer mini-DV that I normally use). My wife and my wedding was recorded by a friend and was given to us years ago-- on Digital 8 format. I didn't have anything to read it, until I found this old Super 8 camcorder.

****Playing the Digital 8 tape in my Super 8 camcorder produces a picture, but it's absolutely horrible quality. Do I need to get a Digital 8 camcorder to play these tapes correctly? Or is the tape itself messed up?

How do you erase/delete a video camera dvd???

I have a "Sony DCR-DVD105 Mini-DVD Handycam Camcorder" and I recorded a bunch of stuff when I first got it playing around with it. How do I go back and erase or delete the stuff on the dvd so I can reuse it. Or Can you just record over it all?? If so how do you do it?? It doesn't have a memory card or a place for one.

Also is there a way to upload the dvd onto a computer??? If so how??

I'm usually pretty good with these kind of things but this one's over my head! :)

Hello, I've had a digital camera (Ixus 700) for almost two years, and although it's a great camera, it offers no compression for the video clips i've taken. A 20 second clip is 40meg. My pictures folder is gigantic.

What is the best way of compressing these AVI uncompressed files but retaining almost perfect quality? I'd love to know a good lossless one, albeit apparently they don't save too much room.

Since these are treasured memories I don't want to distort/blur the image using a bad compressor... Any recommendations?

i am trying to record media from my handycam onto cdrom with my computer through usb. and everytime i press record it tells me to "insert disk" and and i already have. Even on the box of the handycam tells me that a cdrom disc will record, ive tried to record it ontodvd disc. do i have a program missing or something ,plese help............

ugh! I have a new DVD video camera and I can open it and play the dvd on my computer but cannot figure out how to save it? Anyone know? When I put the disk in the only options I get are play using

Windows media player
DVD Play
I tried all of them and can't find a save button there either??

I bought an upscale Sony DVD-recorder so I could make the DVDs for my mother-in-law in FL, but she can't view them. Does she need a special DVD player to view them? (i.e. DVD-R/RW, etc.?) I'm confused b/c she could view the CDs I converted from the miniDV to CD via computer but not the DVD-R? Help. This isn't my area of expertise, obviously!
