I have a Panasonic PV-L679D and want to get a video from the cassette onto my computer to YouTube......

I'd also suggest the Dazzle solution. You should add a USB port to your computer! The add on PCI cards are available at Best Buy for about $20. Your other option would be a Video Capture PCI card like the ATI TV Wonder VE which runs about $78 - no USB port required. It's also a TV tuner so you can watch TV on it!

There are a few products out there that will allow you to do this. One that I have found to be useful is called Dazzle. It provides both the software and the interface needed to complete the transfer. I purchased it at Best Buy for about $100. There is a cheaper version, but it did not work for me.

easy.
can you download it to your computer? if yes then all you have to do is make sure that it is less then 10 minits. the formate is allready is good, so you dont have to convert it.
if your video is more then 10 minits you can split it up and upload it with a directors account on youtube or. you could split it using windows movie maker.
