ugh! I have a new DVD video camera and I can open it and play the dvd on my computer but cannot figure out how to save it? Anyone know? When I put the disk in the only options I get are play using
MediaCenter
Windows media player
DVD Play
I tried all of them and can't find a save button there either??

u will have to save dvd or media that the camera uses to record.

or if it shows up on ur comp as a hard drive icon open that and drag it onto ur desk top

You need to rip it using software like Studio Deluxe 10 from Pinnacle (Avid).

You CAN also drag and drop the files to your computer, but there is no warranty the sound will move with the video in tandem.

Video is ususal a DAT type of file.

Cancel and then explore the disk. Copy the disk files to a location on one of your hard drives.

Go to my computer devices with removable storage and copy to cd. You will need a readible writeable disc.
