I have a digital camcorder with a 4 pin firewire output, but my computer only has USB ports. I was hoping to find some kind of conversion option that is an external device. All advice is welcome.

I am thinking about buying the Panasonic PV-GS300 because of video quality but I heard that when you convert to DVD you lose color quality

I'm searching for one that is not too expensive but at the same time with great quality for video filming, and with many effects.

Question really covers it. I want to hook my Azden SGM-1x microphone directly to my Pansonic GS-500 camcorder to record sound directly onto tape. The Azden has an XLR output and the Panasonic has a mic outlet.

The disc was made with a camcorder DVD -R 1.48BG mini disc.

I can see visually on the DVD that something is written to the DVD. Is their anyway that the disc might not be finalized ( i.e. open for multisession). I have Nero, is there anyway that i can recover this stuff that was written with the Camcorder?

thank you

It is blacking out some pictures I took and won't let me watch some of the videos. I left it outside for an hour or so in the blazing heat of the summer. Did that destroy it? What do I do?

I am going on holiday in the next few weeks and thinking of buying a small camcorder which would fit nicely in my suitcase. Have you any suggestions as to the make and model of a camcorder that I could consider, together with a price range?

At present, I have a samsung 500x camcorder which is a bit bulky. Do you think it would be a good idea if I could part ecchange that for a more recent & smaller samsung model?

Thanks

I honestly don't know if you can even use a green screen with this program, but I taped with one and it would be a livesaver if I could just use this program to work with!
