You dont even have to be at a 45 degree angle. Just move off to the side until you cant see yourself. In some cases it will look like you are standing right in front of the mirror. Hope this helps!

You can simply do that by standing at an angle preferably 45 deg. in front of the mirror.

It can't be done, however you can strategically position the mirror and the camera, so that you and the camera cannot be seen.
Also, try hiding the camera within a prop, even if the prop happens to be you.
