I am looking for a camcorder that records Mpeg 4 type video into a SD card. Ex. Aiptek. but better quality.

Panasonic has the best SD card camcorder - it records in mpeg2 (same format as DVDs) - but it's not cheap.

or you can search on eBay for the Panasonic SV-AV100, or JVC GZ-MC100 or GZ-MC200 - the video quality of these camcorders will be better than most mp4 camcorders.

I would say that Panasonic is the best SD card camcorder. However, new lineups of JVC (Victor) HDD camcorder also has the ability to record videos on SD cards too! Here is a link to several comparison I have done with JVC HDD camcorder. Later models (feb 2007) like MG155, MG255, & MG575 also support SDHC cards.

They are pretty much about the same. You can't get much better unless you go with a miniDV camcorder. I have the Aiptek IS-DV, and it does a pretty good job.

as per me aiptec is the best b'cos i am also using it its 5in1 which i had purchased from below mention address...
its picture clearity is best & lots of things is there.....

check it once..
