i want to buy a camcorder so i can post easily to youtube, and such. which should i get?

Do not buy a camcorder

It will difficult for you to convert the format into the digital format
you need to buy more expensive sofwtare to convert those camcorder signal into digital

If you use just a good digital camera, to capture video (most can do this and at good quality too), the video can easily got transferred to YOUTUBE

I would suggest you buy a hard disk or DVD type recorder, because it stores data in computer based files. Let me list down several things that needed by DVD and HDD camcorders

DVD camcorders: you need a computer DVD drive. If the media is DVD-R you should have a DVD-R drive. If it's DVD-RW, you need a DVD-RW drive. and if the media is DVD-RAM, you need a DVD-RAM drive (superdrive).

HDD camcorders: you need a computer with USB. (almost every computer)
