Buying one of these tonight for my 12 year old...What is your recommendation?

I don't use a mac, and don't really like the Ipod's propriatary nature (on paper, never owned one).

We just bought a 46in Bravia Sony LCD tv and as we were watching it for the first time we noticed that within 1hr the tv seemed to generate so much heat, like overheating, which we weren't sure was a normal thing with Sony tvs. You can put your hand near the tv and it emits a lot of heat. We have friends who also own big screen LCD tvs but of other brands that do not have this problem. So we wanted to know if there were other owners who have had this problem and if so, what they did to fix it.

I know that you are able to use IM's if you've jailbroken it. Do you think that Apple will make a webcam so you can use it with the IM's on the iTouch and iPhone?

Just replaced the battery in my 30 gig ipod classic. After watching video for a few minutes and maybe some music the battery meter goes down, then up, seems very strange. Is it possible the meter is not reading correctly? Appreciate any info

Recently the computer that has all of my music has broken down. I cannot access that computer :-( So I was wondering what can I do to transfer the music already on my iPod to another computer? It won't let me drag and drop it into this computer's library. Need idea's!

I bought a Nintendo Wii today, brand new unopened....comes with 3 games and two controllers... paid $420. I want to sell it, but how much should I be asking for it ?

Since they are all sold out, and you can't find any anywhere, except used on ebay...how much is it worth ?

I have bought a ton of games online (like Diner dash 1,2 and 3,etc) and I've downloaded them to a download website so I can share them with other people. Do you think other people would be interested in purchasing the downloads for like, $5.00? And if so, where could I advertise? I don't think I can sell downloads like that on ebay, but I would think it would be better to buy the download rather than paying for shipping and waiting for it to ship. This way, the link would be immediately emailed to the buyer and they could begin playing right away! Any thoughts/suggestions?

I recently installed a home theater system. I have a nice 50" plasma on the wall. All the wiring is hidden. I have 5 infinity speakers all wall mounted. I have a Denon AVR receiver, and I utilize Cable TV through Comcast.

No matter what I try, there's still a constant buzzzzzz or some might call it a hummmmmmm coming through my speakers. Most of the time you don't hear it because there's programming coming through on the TV. But if the TV gets quiet, it's there.

I have maximized the settings. I have the TV sound all the way down. The Comcast Cable Box sound all the way down. And I use the AVR sound as my main sound and that helps a lot, but the buzz is still there in the background. I've been told it's because I'm using Comcast Cable and there's nothing that can be done about it, but surely there's some kind of electronic silencer I can use to take that buzz out.

My cell phone won't send messages anymore. It's one year old this week. I can phone, take videos and photos but messages - nothing. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? Would getting myself a new number help or would I still have the same problem?

i am considering buying a blu-ray disc player. the sony blu-ray disc player is $300 while the PS3 is $400. which is a better deal? i don't think i will be playing too many video games...but i hear blu-ray has updates and that it is convenient to get them directly through the internet with the PS3's wireless connection. any suggestions?? also the PS3 has a 40 GB hard drive. does the regular player have a hard drive?
