it could be the batteries are losing their charge

also there is a problem with the battery compartment becoming loose and the batteries not making good connection to the metal contacts on the controller

only way i've seen around this is to buy the rechargeable battery packs, they fit a little snugger and they last a little longer on gameplay hours, good for 20-25 hours straight gameplay each charge

Is the battery charged?
If it's not a rechargeable battery, are they the right batteries?
are they put in the right way?
are they the same type of battery? because sometiems when you mix them they don't work as well.
if you said no to all those questions, then idk.

maybe clean the part where you put the battery or something.

sounds like the batteries are getting low, the cheapest way to go is to get a rechargeable battery, and charger, once the light on rings on the controller starts flashing its time to recharge
