I bought the 40 giga PS3 (eu version) and if someone know any good site where i can download Hd videos i would like to know.
p.s. i tried the apple site the ps3 cant play quick time videos and wmv

There is no way to download HD Movies playable on the PS3.
If you had a Xbox 360, you could go to Vuze, download some HD content and watch it by streaming from the PC to the Xbox.
Or you could try the Xbox Live Video Marketplace.
But with the PS3, currently the only way is to watch Blue Ray movies.

You CAN download HD videos from the playstation online store (direct to ps3) This is prety much the same as xbox live so dont listen to others saying you should have got a 360, the trailers are there(in 780 and SOME 1080p).
If you want them on your computor make sure you check out www.gametrailers.com
Full HD trailers that include Gampleay and the cut scence.

Just downloaded an HD warhawk trailer from gametrailers.com through my PS3 browser.
It was in wmv format (you need to enable it before it'll allow you to play it in that format by going into settings/system settings and then enable WMA playback (you only need do it once though)
I selected download and then when it said 'right click and save' just pressed 'x' and it d/lded it to the hard drive.

Not really an answer to your question, more of an FYI...as of this week, PS3 does now support WMV playback. That was introduced with the 2.10 Firmware update.

apparantly you can download 720p trailers from the playstation store free, via your ps3. Also if you are in to racing games, like me, check out gran-turismo.com you can download the various trailers etc all in 720p, i have done so!
I can test the ps store theory on xmas day, when i can use my new 40gb PS3!!
can't wait!!!

You would have to change your OS (operating system) to something like Linux and then use a Linux supported player.

you cant just download hd videos off the internet. you should be kicking yourself that you didnt buy a 360. xbox live video market place, hehehehehe.
