A TV picture is made up with coloured dots. A HD TV has more dots. So, when HD is broadcast or viewed from a HD video player, such as small writing will be clearer and distant faces more recognisable.

hdtv stands for high definition. The quality of the pic is 100 times better than standard def. It is so crisp u can c the colors very vividly and see the sweat on a football player forehead. Thats what i call high resolution. To get more for ur money u have to get a hdtv tuner from either from satellite or cable provider. Its worth the money

High definition tv is exactly that. It gives a better clearer and more detailed picture than before.
