I wanted to get the one for PC but I think I need to change my graphics card for it (Not really sure). So, is buying the PS3 version good as the one for the PC??

For the past few years, I have owned a 360 and have loved it. About 2 months ago, I bought a Wii and hated it. I sold it on ebay for a large profit and bought a PS3 with the money.


The PS3 is the perfect system for me. It has an upconverting dvd player and plays my old PS2 disks perfectly. All this has got me to thinking about selling my 360 on ebay as well. I have nearly $400 dollars worth of extras to go with it and know it would sell at a great price. Plus, I could use the money for grad school (books etc.) in January.

I was also thinking that most of the games I am looking foward to are either sports games or coming out for the PS3, meaning I won't miss out on any upcoming 360 exclusives.

The only problem is I am someone attached to the system. I have taken absolute impeccable care of it and enjoyed playing it for the past 20 months or so. Should I sell the 360 or keep it? Honestly, I don't see it getting a whole lot more usage.

When the the electric goes out, will we be able to use our emergency battery operated TV's ? Do I have to buy new TV sets ? Do I have to hook up to cable, dish or some other expensive outlet to watch (what has always been FREE) television? When and why was this law passed and who will profit from this change?

I was just wondering if mp3 and mpeg files are the same. Because when I import them to itunes they show up as being mpeg when they are mp3 files.

The ps store on my playstation 3 is different from the other one.....for example mine doesnt have the tab to download wallpapers or music!!! whats wrong with my ps3? do i have to go on the web browser and go to ps3 store on there to buy music and wallpapers?

When I mounted the projector, all said and done, the projector lens is 2" off in relation to the centerline of the screen. I watched a movie and looked to see if there was any veriation from side to side and I couldn't tell a difference. The reason I am asking this question is becuse I am a perfectionist and in my mind this is a big deal. I would have already moved it, but the only problem it is a lot of work to move.

Soooo, before I take the time to move the projector, I wanted to hear some oppinons from other people.


To Weeder.....thank you for taking the time to email me and make sure this was an enjoyable experience.....eventhough you never told me about the amount of work involved....no worries, it was worth it.

The last 2 times I've been to the stores that have a lot of TVs on display, the LCDs just look brighter and sharper to me. They've all been playing the same video feed. The plasmas all looked dim and dull.

I could see that some TVs weren't set up optimally, but it was pretty universal.

Could it hurt the tv or the system? I have tried playing on the tv before and I DO notice some slight gameplay differences. For example, on Need For Speed Carbon, on a regular tv it works fine but on the Sharp, the steering is a little inaccurate (it will automatically turn right when going straight). Let me know please. So, my husband and I are getting our son a PS3 system for xmas and usually I am pretty good at finding deals but I really cannot find anything out there right now from a non-ebay source...

Do you have any ideas where there are any deals or maybe a bundle where another game or controller is tossed in for the $500?

FYI - we already have a flat-screen so that deal is not gonna work and I already know about Sony's free 5 blue-ray's....
