When I mounted the projector, all said and done, the projector lens is 2" off in relation to the centerline of the screen. I watched a movie and looked to see if there was any veriation from side to side and I couldn't tell a difference. The reason I am asking this question is becuse I am a perfectionist and in my mind this is a big deal. I would have already moved it, but the only problem it is a lot of work to move.

Soooo, before I take the time to move the projector, I wanted to hear some oppinons from other people.

To Weeder.....thank you for taking the time to email me and make sure this was an enjoyable experience.....eventhough you never told me about the amount of work involved....no worries, it was worth it.

It matters if you can see any focus shift from one side vs the other. If your projector has "horizontal lens shift" you can compensate. If not you will have to move the screen or the projector if the imperfection bothers you.

Ha Ha!

If I had told you the amount of work involved you may not have decided to do it and wouldn't be watching that big cool TV! :)

To answer your question however, the setup I have in the Living Room was off center a little more than that I think as I I had to compensate for one of those stupid ceiling fans. I'm not quite the perfectionist as you, but I can't really see a difference and nobody who has visited has even noticed.

Enjoy!

What?!?!?
You don't like projectors being off-center???
Why, that's un-American!!!
Of course you should be worried!!!
I'm contacting the FBI, CIA, and CNN, right now!!!
COMMIE!!!

Seriously, though, dude, just follow the instructions in the manual, or contact the manufacture or retailer!
