what is the difference between an xbox 360 and xbox elite
which is better and why
and can u giv me a price range on them ?

The Elite was the first model to include HDMI, but I think all models have it now (I'm SOL, though), and the component cables do look awful in HD. The Elite has a 120 GB HD, whereas the Pro has a 20 GB, and the Arcade has none. Here's the problem with the 120 GB HD- it doesn't store content the way the 20 Gig does. The 20 Gig will store full TV show episodes and shorter downloaded programming, whereas the 120 Gig (for some odd reason) stores only a portion of the data and requires a constant internet connection to view it (as both models do with full-length movies). I have no idea why the much larger HD would store less info, but I prefer the 20 GB HD simply for the fact that I have all of my content and can watch it anywhere, anytime, and forever. It's very low on space, but it's worth more to me as I feel like I actually own the content that I paid for on it...
That said, I'd go with a PS3, personally. I've barely played my 360 since I got one, and the cheaper PS3 model is just slightly more expensive than the 360 Elite. You're also getting an amzing HD Blu-ray player...

Xbox 360 Pre Has the 20 GB hard Drive. I'm not sure if it has HDMI (for HDTV).
The Elite has 120GB hard Drive and a HDMI port for HDTV.
Elite is better if you actually have an HDTV. The Xbox 360 Premium is good if you only have a regular tv.

The only difference is the color and the Hard drive size. pro comes with 20 GB while elite comes with a 120 GB HDD.
I think Microsoft should offer another size HDD in between, maybe a 60 GB solution?
