Consumer Electronics - 24 November 2007

I currently have DISH network and am moving, the house I am buying already has a dish installed from the previous owner, but it is DIRECTTV. Now, I can afford to pay someone to install my DISH in the new house, but if it is not necessary, I have a lot of other things I would rather do with that money...:)

Question is, can I use the DIRECTTV dish, with my DISH Network receivers?

I want to purchase one of the consoles for the entire family. So of course Dad wants to get in some Madden or sports game for that matter. I have 3 games I want to put on my PC, Medieval total war 2, Sim City 4, and Call of Duty 4... My PC meets all of the PC's requirements and I have 1 GB of ram and 250 GB of hard drive, so I have plenty of Space. But if I download them all to my PC, when I playing a game, will it be slower since I have other games downloaded to it?

I read online a month or two ago that there was a pretty healthy rumor that the Wii was going to be slightly reduced in price (permanently) starting around Christmas. Is there still any truth to this? I want one, but if they're going down a little bit, I'll hold off (not that I have a choice - I still haven't been able to find one in my area).

Has anybody else had this problem? When I try to turn on my ps3, it beeps three times, the light changes from red to green, but then immediately shuts back off and turns red. I've tried using both the power button and the eject button to turn it on.
