I turned on my plasma this morning, and there was no sound. I turned it all the way up, i can barely hear it?

It is connected to comcast duigital box. That is turned up to maximum. Could my speakers have burst?

I sounds more like you have wires contacting each other somewhere. If these are rca jacks, trade trade them out with some that you know work. If they are bare wires, check the connections, as it sounds like a speaker wire short. Good Luck
