How much memory can it hold? What is the highest memory? And do you have to put it into a MicroMate reader?

Internal memory is 342MB

External memory (largest size is 2GIG) 1936.8MB

The Micro sd card goes in the phone and you are able to place items on it via IM's, eMails, USB to computer, internal swapping from internal to external memory.

If you want to put the Micro SD in a mate then in a computer card reader to transfer movies, music, and pics that works too.
