Has anybody else had this problem? When I try to turn on my ps3, it beeps three times, the light changes from red to green, but then immediately shuts back off and turns red. I've tried using both the power button and the eject button to turn it on.

! of two things is happeing .. You left the remote play option on auto shuttdown. Or you tried turning it off before update was done.
Turn it off from the back power switch. Wait a couple of seconds then flip the back power switch. Then press and hold the front power button on the console for ten seconds. THen let go. It should take a couple of seconds but it will turn back on. Make sure your PSP is off if you were using remote play on it. ANd if you rbuddies have their psp remote connected to your ps3 via the internet make sure they didn't mess with the system. So as soon as it turns on disable the remote play and see if that helps.
