You need to call service.
A blinking pattern on the power button usually denotes an error message.
TRy this also. Unplug the power cord of the TV. Wait 30 sec and replug. If you see the same pattern, call service.

The TV Guy has the right idea. A blinking light can also mean that the wake/sleep alarm is set and will come ON at a preset time. To cancel this, unplug from the wall and wait a minute to reset the circuits and plug it back in. It wouldn't hurt to replace the batteries in your remote also.

My power light on my remote was blinking. I replaced the batteries and it worked fine.

it's either a bad connection, or you need new batteries in the remote
