I'm a little confused! I bought a brand new HD TV with HDMI, I bought the HDMI cable and a Sanyo DVD player with HDMI/ DivX etc.
I connected the cable and it worked, it showed the DVD screen in HD, then I put in a new HD DVD film in and it doesn't recognise the disc.

Why have a HDMI cable if it can't play HD DVD discs? What is the difference between HDMI and HD DVD?

I have tried different batteries in my house in my digital camera that has ran out of battery (Kodak Z1275) and they will not work. Then i put in some Kodak ones in...and it works. If this is the case can anyone tell me where i can get rechargable Kodak AA batteries please? Thanks.

I'm thinking about asking for a Polaroid 7 MP i733 Digital Camera w/ 3x Optical Zoom, in Red for Christmas. However, before I put in my request to "Santa Claus", I wanted to make sure that this was the camera I really wanted. However, I can't find an online review ANYWHERE! Can someone please tell me about this camera?!? For instance: Does it take videos? If so, is there sound, and is the sound quality any good? How many pictures does it hold without a memory card? Does it really come with a case-thingy? Does it come with a cord so that it can be attached to a television? Please, if you can tell me ANY information at all about the camera, i would greatly appreciate it!

It has 4 wires (red, green, blue, yellow, I think..) with metal half-circles on the end of each--I think the red & green are the active wires--what do I need to make it fit in the telephone jack in the wall?

i bought an HD tv ( Proscan : 19LA20Q), a ps3(80 gb version), and HD cables for my ps3. It works but i can only get 480i. On the box of my cables it say i can get 1080p. Is it my tv, my cables, my ps3 or is it the game im using?

p.s. the game im using is Resistance: Fall Of Man.

okay so i dropped my casio exilim EX-Z75 and the lens got stuck one side of the lens is all the way out and the other is slightly more in... i can still look at my pictures but not take any obv. is there anyway i can fix it? or if i have to get it professionally done how much? PLEASE HELP!

ALSO, I hear that the 2.0 firmware is causing glitches?! Should I install that or no!? Maybe wait a while for them to correct it?

AND, the first game I'm getting is "Warhawk" because that game seems like a real adrenaline pumping kind of game!

I'm getting the 80GB so if there's anything I should know, any advice, don't hesitate to tell me!

I'm interested in getting a Blue Ray dvd player and PS3 lookes like the cheapest price with their PS3 40 GB version which costs $400. I don't play games that often thats why I'm asking what would you do if you were in my position. Buy the PS3 or a Blue Ray DVD player? I ask this because each side has an advantage and disadvantage. PS3 is a high definition computer with Blue Ray but when I saw it at Gamestop it sounds loud also I have a laptop and ipod already so I'm set. As for the Blue Ray DVD player its sounds much softer and no gameplay.

I've heard that the PS3 makes quite a bit of heat, and I'm getting one either tomorrow or Monday...

A LOT of people have told me not to buy the intercooler that goes on the back of it, so I don't want to do that.

But I have a small table fan that could fit on my TV stand, and I am thinking I could put that behind the PS3 and turn it on while I'm playing it, just to keep it kind of cool.

Would that be OK?

we have a jvc lcd television this grey box tells you the connection like hdmi1. when it is on digital channels it does not show a grey box. but what is really annoying is the connection box shows while a dvd is playing we have tried everything and still the box shows. does anyone have any idea?
LoL don't say buy a new television we've only purchased it today and other than the silly conection box it's a brilliant tv

Has anyone had any problems after updating the PS3 to firmware 2.00?Ive read that alot of people are having some issues after updating to the new firmware,such as game freezes,system crashes,DRE's,ect.Ive updated my new PS3 to 2.00,but Im not sure if my problems are from the game Im playing-Assassins Creed-,or if its the firmware,or perhaps a little of both?
