Most cellular companies are making big money on text messaging because It's not a free feature. You must have run a big bill for your dad to remove it. You may have to plead your case to him so he can put it back.

Get a job and agree with him to pay for the minutes. It's not the end of the world. I don't know the situation but perhaps he's trying to teach you a lesson or maybe you abused the priveledges or got too wrapped up in it or he's worried about your safety? This would be a good time to reflect & show your dad that you're mature instead of not complaining. Who knows, maybe he'll give it back to you????

You can't. It has to do with your service plan. And more than likely, he's the only one that can call and change that. He prolly took it off cause you were racking up a huge bill. Why don't you do some research and find a plan with unlimited txting. then show it to him and see if he'll let you do that....
