Consumer Electronics - 13 November 2007

I just burned one from iTunes and it plays in my portable, in my DVD player, in the car, but not in the kitchen clock/radio/CD player. The one in the kitchen is a Sony, so it's not a poor quality player.

Ok, I'm asking this question on behalf of my brother, who's 11, and wants to know if you can go on www.isketch.net with a playstation 3. I told him you can't because it requires Adobe Shockwave, and I don't think ps3 supports that...

Does anyone know if it does, or could you try to go on it for me real quick? Thank you!!

We already have a PS3, but our kids really want a Wii for Christmas. Is it worth it? Are there any good games (multi-player, rated E) for the PS3?

I was playing my ps3 yesterday and had been for quite a while. I had been playing Call of Duty 4 for ages.

Then it started to make a weird noise. It sounded like an aeoroplane in the distance (thats the only way I can describe it) then the noise started to get louder, and louder. After about half an hour I decided to switch it off thinking maybe it was oerheated since I had been playign it for so long.

This morning I woke up and switched it back on but after half an hour it made the same noise (quietly again). I have switched it off again.

Does anyone know why this is? Is it just the fan?

I seen ps3, 6 blue ray dvds, 40 gig hard drive for 399
xbox 360 is the same but with 20 gig hard drive no hd player
no dvds.
and you have to pay 4 xbox live ps3 is free
Halo 3 didnt live up to be what i thought it would be
I played a ps3 last night for the first time and the graphics were way better i only played a couple games.
I like gears of war and saints row on xbox360 but in the long run xbox360 costs more or the same.
I had the red ring happen on my xbox360 which sucked
and i had to still pay for xbox live 50 dollars
whats the deal with this xbox 360 isnt even wireless internet
u can make it wireless for like 150 dollars
lol its like ps3 gives you everything and a blue ray player
xbox360 gives you a cheaper system but by the time you pay for the hd dvd player,xbox live and anything else your paying more LOL

Hello, I have an olympus digital camera FE220, it was recently purchased; I left the camera on a high surface while the lens was out and the camera fell to the ground!

Now the lens seems stuck, it wont zoom in/out, hence wont take pictures. The lens is like jammed due to the impact.

HELP. I HAVENT TOLD MY PARENTS YET. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

i just recently bought a plasma hdtv and want to get hd from my direct tv box but i dont have the hd box and the box i have only has composite outputs. i was told that component video is way better quality..is there a converter the i can use to hook up my box to the component inputs? I always have to up the camera (Or Flash 2/3s stop) Then!! My D50 sometimes (Most of the time) shoots too red. (Faces too red) I then correct in photo shop. (Takes time) Why does D50 shoot so red?

The settings on the A/V receiver enables me to calibrate from -6 dB to +6dB. Should i just set all six speakers to +1 dB or is there a better formula to the settings that will enhance my surround sound. My a/v receiver is Philips Model HTS3357/98. Thank you

in the menus of the system every once in a while the X and or O buttons stop working. The PS button works and so do the directions, but it won't let me click X on anything. Does this happen to anyone else or should i bring it back to Best Buy? i have the warrenty
