I just burned one from iTunes and it plays in my portable, in my DVD player, in the car, but not in the kitchen clock/radio/CD player. The one in the kitchen is a Sony, so it's not a poor quality player.

Yes i already also notice that... it depends on the quality of CD you bought, the best quality CD's to burn are expansive trademark suc as Traxdata or Memorex and Verbatim or sony tend to be litle compatible.
Cheap players or older player tend to show difficulties to listen MUSICAL copies.....

Try other brands, and let us know if you see any improvement !
