We already have a PS3, but our kids really want a Wii for Christmas. Is it worth it? Are there any good games (multi-player, rated E) for the PS3?

The Wii is worth it especially when it's the best console ever and it's the cheapest one on the market. The Wii is the best video game console I have ever owned. It's not like any other console in a good way. If you get the Wii and you want a second controller, get the wii play pack that comes with a remote it's only 10 bucks more and is worth it! Also, the wii is the most family oriented game console ever invented so there is plenty of E rated games that are fun for the whole family. When I mean famiy oriented I mean family oriented my grandma plays it too, no joke and she likes it! Best 250 I ever spent!

As one PS3 owner to another GET A Wii PS3 only has about 20 games and about 2 for kids. Wii has All there games that are kid friendly

For kids the Wii is the system you're looking for, very few games for the Wii aren't for kids. The Wii's target market is kids, several mario games, some zelda games, but in all games that are more geared towards kids.
The PS3 is a great system, but is meant more for hardcore gamers and adults. Very few games are going to be kid oriented on the PS3.

Get one - and then get Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Kart Wii (in Qtr 1 2008)
