I'm extremely excited!!!

I want to know ALL the important stuff!!

ALSO, I hear that the 2.0 firmware is causing glitches?! Should I install that or no!? Maybe wait a while for them to correct it?

AND, the first game I'm getting is "Warhawk" because that game seems like a real adrenaline pumping kind of game!

I'm getting the 80GB so if there's anything I should know, any advice, don't hesitate to tell me!

Thanks!

See you on the PSN!

OH yeah, and I'm really confused about the whole controller thing... How do i know if it's charged? and how long does it hold a charge? Does it need batteries or something?!

Thanks a lot!

I'm happy to hear that you're getting a PS3. Some people are having problems with their PS3 because of the new 2.00 firmware update, but I haven't had any problems with mine since I installed the 2.00 update.

There is something included in the new 2.00 firmware update that is the Information Board. The Information Board is what's causing the main menu of some PS3's to slow down and freeze up a little bit. All you have to do is turn the Information Board off and you will be problem free.

Also, the PS3's controller is rechargeable, it doesn't use batteries like the Xbox 360. A full charge should last you about 20-30 hours. If you want to check on the charge of the controller at anytime will using the PS3 all you have to do is press the white PS button and the controllers charge will be displayed. Also, the PS3 controller will give you a warning on the screen once the PS3's controller is very low.

To recharge the PS3's controller all you have to do is plug into the PS3 while the PS3 is on. You can also charge your PS3's controller by plugging it into a computer USB port if your PS3 is off.

I hope you enjoy your PS3. Welcome to the PS3 family. Now it's time to "Play Beyond".

You have to install it to go online and to remove the glitch disable the information board u will know what that is

Yeah Warhawk is nice so is Ratchet and clank,Uncharted, and Call of duty 4

The 80GB doesn't have that much good backward compatability

If u have a HDTV Get a HDMI cable for the best experience

See u there in warhawk

Congratulations on your ps3. 80 gig is the best! I have 80 gig and i have firmware 1.96 which on my opinion is the BEST! If you have good connection than warhawk is a good game if you dont (like me) than this game wouldnt suit you because it doesent have single player mode. No those controllers dont need a battery you plug it in straight into your ps3 and it charges while you play. It takes about an hour to charge it and it works for about 4 hours or more im not sure about that.Hope this helps.

I recently got my 80gb and I haven't had any problems. Sometimes I get logged out when I play COD4 but thats is just as I go to play the game, so I just sign back in and then its fine. I recommend you get either a composite or HDMI cable (Composite for 720p, HDMI for 1080p) and also get Call of Duty 4. Also if you don't know already don't switch to upright or vise versa when the disk is inside cuz it will scratch the disk.
