About to buy a sony drc dvd 608e camcorder, getting it imported as cheaper. What is this PAL and 'silver' stuff? Whats the difference?

I am looking into getting a new phone and I was thinking about getting the helio. But when i saw the commercial for the Samsung Kajeet I couldn't make up my mind which one is better.

I can get into the waiting area or whatever the lobby but no games ever show up, my connection is great as far as I know, (internet and PSN store are working). this is kinda frustrating cause I have no idea what the problem is.

I am going to buy a new video game system. I have a standard tv(not HD or anything). I have a PS2 with alot of games but I played the 360 and it was great. I never played the PS3. Please tell me which one I should buy, the PS3 or the XBOX 360.

I have a 10-year-old Toshiba 35" tube television. Whenever I turn it on, I only get a silver/bright white line that runs horizontally in the middle of the tube. This is the only thing that I currently see whenever I turn it on. Previously, it would work fine for a few days and then out of nowhere, the silver line would appear and all tv watching would cease. Now that is all that I get.

Is this a simple fix, or would it be less expensive to purchase a new one.

About a month or more ago our TV ramdomly decided not to turn on. Everything else on its strip worked. A couple hours later just for the fun of it I tried and it turned on. Then a couple days later it did the same thing where it wouldn't turn on then later it would turn on. Well any way on any given day you do not know what you are going to get or how long it will not work. It went a whole week working without a glitch a couple weeks back. However now you shut it off and you do not no when you will be able to get it back on. We cannot even turn it on from the tv its self. You can push the button but it does nothing, no click, picture or sound. The TV is a bit older (over 10) so we know we need a new one but it is not in our finances right now. I was wondering if anyone could tell us what might be causing our tv to go on vacation (what we say when it does not want to work) Sometimes it is off for over a day before it will turn back on. It never shuts its self off.

My son stepped on a game and now it has about a 2-3 inch crack from the middle goin outwards, and the middle part also has a tiny piece missing leaving it slightly jagged. I'd throw it away but it's our Futurama game which is pretty pricey of course...my question, would it hurt to try to see if it still works, or would that be dangerous to the system?

Is it true that TV does not broadcast at 1080p, therefore watching TV programs on a 1080p LCD or Plasma TV doesn't really give you a better picture than those sets having 720p?

i thought this was a helpful site? i have been posting this for about 6 days and no one will help me but anyways....

when i plug in my ipod it freezes on the screen that says do not disconect, i mean it still charges but why is it freezing? and it wont let me update the songs and stuff. can someone help me please.
and yes i do restart my ipod like 6 times a week is that hurting it? but its the only way i can get it to work "normal again"
and itunes doesnt see it or whatever.

Just want to know the mechanism? some radio stations show the name of the song playing, some are not or maybe in wrong name( last running song), so they must emitting some signal, and the zune accept it.
