I'll try to be as detailed and specific as I can.
I macguyver'ed a surround sound speaker set-up using some computer speakers wtith a subwoofer and a vcr. I have my game consoles hooked into it, with a dvd player. The audio is coming out of the tv and into the back of another audio port of a computer speaker, which has a 3.5mm jack for headphones/speakers which are split amongst the external speakers. The issue is, when there is a tape playing in the vcr, or a game/dvd playing on the playstation, the external speakers lose sound whenever there is a dark scene, but returns when the color is back. The xbox however, has no issues with losing sound with the darkness on screen. Sound comes through the tv speakers regardless of what is on screen whilst using any of the devices. Over the course of three weeks Ive been troubleshooting it and trying dozens of configs to make this problem disappear. Who has the answer to make the sound stay on throughout a session of gaming/movie watching?

I bought a multi media player on ebay last month. It arrived with the wrong charger, instead of contacting the seller to complain, I set out to buy one. After 3 days I could not find one anywhere to fit it (it's an I-Stage). I contacted the seller and agreed with them I would return it so they could find correct charger for it. It has a 7 day money back return policy. Tracking # shows item picked up on the 10th Sept. I've sent them 2 emails since with no response, so I kindly asked for a refund. I no longer want the media player(bought one). Now I get an email stating they ordered a charger for the item and to give them 2-3 more days. Here's my problem, should I give them the extra days or insist on my refund? I'm new to ebay but it seems I've done everything right. Do they have the right not to refund my purchase because I agreed to them finding a charger. I don't want to pay anymore S/H charges if the item won't work & have to return again. i know ps2 you need to load a disc and save the settings to a memory card. my friend moved and threw away the box for his PS3.. do you just plug in an Ethernet cable and play or are there more steps?? We really want to play Rainbow six Las Vegas ONLINE

I purchased a SamSung DLP HLT5076S refurbished with 10,000:1 contrast ratio. As soon as I go it out of the box, I noticed the on screen menu was blurry. I have standard digital cable, and standard DVD. All exhibit slight double images, blurryness, lines and a lot of rainbow affects. Samsung technician came out and said, yup, this is what you should expect with standard digital and DVD. Said, the only way to get any quality out of the TV was to us Blue Ray or HD signals. My stand tube TV displays a picture with same signals as nice and crisp. My question is, is this what I should expect from a DLP, or do you think something is wrong with my DLP television? It the answer is yes, and given the fact that I watch standard digital and DVDs most often, then I will need to return it.

I am trying to use subsystem targeting on Star Trek Legacy for Xbox 360. I can click the left stick to turn on this on, and I see that the instruction manual says that you need a full phaser lock and then you can select a subsystem using the left stick, but I am not having any luck since that moves the ship you are controlling. How can I select a subsystem to target once I have a full phaser lock?
