When you burn music from your pc onto a cd and how do you do it???

Burning is the term for putting electronic files onto a CD. It gets it's name from the use of a Laser which actually 'burns' the plastic of the CD where it meets the shiny coating.

Use a program such as Nero or Roxio and it's easy as pie.

Ripping is the term used for changing format from one to another. A song is RIPPED from CD Audio to Wave as example.

You rip the music from the cd, onto your pc, and burn it onto a writable cd. You need a program such as Roxio to burn the new cd.
