I was using a PS3-branded component video cable with my PS2, and I know the PS2 s-video cable works with the PS3 without issues. The only connector for both PS2 and PS3 that's PS3-specific is the HDMI cable.

The AV multi out cable that normally comes with ps3 is the same as ps2's av cable. so u can use a ps2's cable to play ps3 on a non hd tv. U must have the av cable or else u cant see the display if u directly use the hdmi cable cause u gotta change the settings from regular av to hdmi for playing on a hd tv via the hdmi cable.

Av cable for ps1 ps2 and ps3 are all the same so you can use it for your console but i would be benificial to have a HDMI cable to optimize the capability of it resoution, have one if you have a HD TV.

The power lead is a common 'kettle lead', and yes you can use the video lead you used with your PS2.
