I am trying to use subsystem targeting on Star Trek Legacy for Xbox 360. I can click the left stick to turn on this on, and I see that the instruction manual says that you need a full phaser lock and then you can select a subsystem using the left stick, but I am not having any luck since that moves the ship you are controlling. How can I select a subsystem to target once I have a full phaser lock?

ok i didnt know eathrer but here it goes...
get a phasor lock...
hold down "A"
useing the stick you use to steer move it to the icon corrasponding to the system you wanna target
fire phasors and photons and theyll be down quickly
once you get the lock let go of "A" or you wont be able to steer
